Bentley

So this is our newest addition to the family, little miss Bentley. She is only about 10 weeks old. She is half Rottweiler and half Sharpei. She is soooo stinking cute! We got her yesterday, and she was very successful at keeping me and Brandon up all night last night. She decided in the middle of the night it would be fun to start playing. Not fun for us :) Oh, and Harley HATES her.

Week 8

Whoa. Today I am considered 8 weeks pregnant (baby is still only about 7 weeks.) Anyways, time seems to be flying!! It seems like just yesterday I even found out I was pregnant. Kinda crazy. Now that Christmas is over, I am going to start focusing on getting prepared for this little tiny. With Christian I sort of waited until the last few months to get all his stuff, and that was STRESSFUL! I won't be doing that again...

I have absolutely NOTHING left from when I had Christian (another mistake I won't be making.) I am going to save ALL of my baby stuff, cause, even though it's not in our plan, shit happens. So, anyways,  I have to start all over from square one with collecting baby stuff. It will be a fun though...babies make my heart melt, and their cute little things they come with. AND, we already are about 99% sure on the names. :) Both are AWESOME names, and both are names we have never heard people have before. There, now I have successfully kept you all in suspicion.

The Stats

Weight gain: I have only gained 5 lbs. I finally looked.

Cravings: Bagels

Symptoms: Bloated and nausea

Things to avoid:  Bad smells. Makes me want to puke.

First Ultrasound!

We went to the doctor for the first time today since we found out I was pregnant, I calculated almost exactly right. Our due date is August 10th, I calculated August 11th. It's pretty funny, after I found out I was pregnant, I found this little application on my phone that tells you when you are ovulating based on your last period. So I punched in my last period on it, and it just so happened that I was ovulating the week Brandon got home from Montana. So, I'm pretty sure we got pregnant within the first 3 or 4 days of him being home. :) Kinda funny. Kinda weird too.Makes sense though, I was ALL OVER his sexy ass. :)

Anyways, they said the baby measures well, and everything is looking good! They said the heart rate was at 160 beats a minute. WOW! :) They even gave us some little pictures....

Week 7

So every Wednesday, I start a new week in my pregnancy. Today marks my 7th week, I think that makes the baby about 6 weeks old now (still confuses me.) I have noticed LOTS of changes in my body lately, mostly the getting fatter part. I am NOT happy about that, but it will all be worth it in the end I suppose....

I have started HATING certain smells, they make me nauseous. I have been sick quite a bit lately, throwing up alot, mostly at night, and pretty much after every time I eat. I've noticed if I eat anything remotely bad for me, I get sick. I have to start sticking to extremely healthy foods to avoid that. I've quit drinking caffeine all together, so I've been tired a bunch lately too. Ughhh. Anyways, we go to the doctor in 4 days! I am super excited about that! Then we can hear it's little heartbeat, and know exactly how far along we are.

Weight gain: Nope. Still haven't looked....lol

Cravings: Toast with butter and honey and iced cold water

Symptoms: Tired and bloated.(STILL)

Things to avoid:  Candy. It makes me bloated. Icky.

Our Fun Little Weekend

We had a nice relaxing weekend at home, with lots of laughs! Brandon's niece Lily came over during the day on Saturday and we baby sat her for the first time. :) She was hilarious, she fell in love with this Elmo chair of Christian's. She sat in it and watched Princess and the Frog. However, as you can see from the pic below, Christian got more into the Princess movie than Lily was. :) It was cute!

I tried getting one that wasn't blurry, but I wasn't quick enough :)

Then Saturday night we had our friends Chris, Aubrey and Katie over for dinner. It was pretty fun. After dinner Brandon was hanging out with Harley on the couch, and this is how Harley was seriously sitting. We were cracking up. She's a silly dog. Needless to say, it was a pretty entertaining, relaxing weekend at home.

Again, its blurry, but I tried. Dogs and little kids are hard to take pics of! :)

6th Week

So yesterday marked the beginning of my 6th week, according to the calculations I've done. I still can't wait to get to the doctor (11 days) so we can have an EXACT date of how far along I am, but according to everything, I am starting my 6th week of pregnancy, so that would make the baby about 5 weeks old now. :)


Dear Baby,

You are still making me pretty tired, and it's irritating your dad at night when I walk in the door and basically go to bed. I can't wait until my tiredness fades away! Other than that, you've barely made me sick at all, what a good baby you are! :) You are making me fatter though already, is this something we can possibly work on?? .... :)

Boobie Beanie

 These are too funny! They are a knitted hat for the baby that looks like a boob! The baby can wear it while I breastfeed. :) This makes me laugh each time I see it, totally something I will invest in for a good laugh!

Harley Baby...

I was laying on the couch watching TV Sunday and Harley came up and decided to cuddle with me. :) She's so sweet!

Christian and Lily

 

 We had a fun day Saturday. Well, a crazy/hectic sort of fun day. My friend Kayla brought her two kids over to hang out for the day while she went to work. Her little girl Lily (below) is so funny and cute. She is a doll baby. Christian loves playing with her! Then towards the evening, I took Christian to get a haircut and they were closed, so I decided to cut his hair all on my own. The picture above is him after his haircut. Not too bad, considering he was mad and upset the whole time. :)

Yesterday was the beginning of my 5th week!

This week has been the first week of my negative symptoms. I have been feeling so tired and crappy. My stomach has been upset too. Hopefully it's just been stuff I've eaten, but I have a feeling it's been the little baby making me feel yucky.

I've been searching and searching online for some good pregnancy websites. While I've been weeding through all the crap, I found some Chinese Gender Predicition Chart at www.thebump.com, and according to it Baby  is going to be a girl! Then I found another one, and according to it, Baby is going to be a boy. Funny! Well I don't know about you, but I feel good knowing that Baby is either going to be a boy or a girl depending on which chart you believe. So glad I found that out!

Cute Little Cousins....

Christian's Aunt Nichole took Christian and his cousin Gavin to get some Christmas pictures done a few days ago. They turned out pretty cute considering Christian's hair is only half way done and he severely needs a haircut...not to mention we forgot it was picture day and didn't have Christian dressed in his Christmas clothes. Nichole saved the day and hurried and bought the boys matching shirts right before the shoot. Here is a little preview of them. Silly little boys...

Sleepy Boy

Nothing is sweeter than this. :) I could spend hours watching him sleep. We got home last night and he wanted to lay in my bed and watch cartoons and when I came back in a few minutes later, this is what I saw. :) I love him so so much!!

A visit to see Santa!

Brandon and I took Christian to see Santa at the mall the other night. He LOVED it! I love doing things like this with him, the littlest things make him happy!

WELL HELLO BLOGSPOT WORLD!!

WOW!! It's been quite sometime since I have been on here! Lots and lots of things have been happening in mine and Christian's lives since the last blog I had. *AMAZING things I must add!**

Christian turned 5 years old a few months ago!! Crazy. He is currently in preschool, and super smart! He has learned his entire alphabet, his numbers, colors, he can spell his own name, and he can even name ALL 50 states in alphabetical order! He amazes me each and every day! I love him so much! He even got his very first school pictures done! I will post one below, he is so stinking cute!! 

Another great thing, I am a HOME OWNER NOW!!!  With help from a dear friend of mine, I was able to get me and Christian into a cute little house that we did a little remodeling on before I moved in. I had all the walls painted in the house, and had all new carpet put in the house as well. We are so stoked about having a home to call our VERY OWN!  Here are a few pictures:

THEN!! In September of this year, I started dating a really amazing guy,  Brandon. He was working up in Montana doing construction, so I drove up there to spend a weekend with him. It was such a good time! I have never met someone who I had so much fun with and who treated me so good. He got done working in Montana and came back and we decided it would be fun to shack up, and so we did! :) Best decision I've ever made. He came into mine and Christian's life at such a perfect time, and he has been amazing to both of us! I always am having fun with him, he makes me extremely happy, and he has a wonderful family. Not only did he grace us with his presence but he brought his beautiful baby Harley (dog) with him! She is the BEST dog ever, I adore her like crazy, and so does Christian.

WAIT!! THERE IS MORE NEWS! On top of ALL OF THIS, we found out this week that we are going to add one more addition to our little family.

This news was so completely unexpected, but I'm excited! We figured I am only about a month along, and probably due around the beginning of August. I go to the doctor the end of this month, and we will know for sure. 

So needless to say, life has been absolutely amazing for Christian and I!! I thank God so so much for all the MANY WONDERFUL blessings he has given us this year, and for bringing all the amazing people to our lives.
